The Educational Administration Program faculty is committed to providing rich learning experiences to support the growth and development of practitioners and scholars of educational administration, leadership, and policy.


Francis Godwyll Associate Professor, Educational Studies McCracken Hall, 314A 740.593.4484 godwy ll@ohio.edu Dr. Godwyll is a Co-coordinator for the doctoral program (Ed.D.) in Educational Administration and is the primary advisor for students pursuing the specialization in Comparative and International Educational Leadership.

Cindy Hartman Instructor, Educational Studies McCracken Hall, 314B 740.593.4464 hartmanc@ohio.edu Cindy Hartman serves as Associate Director of the Coalition of Rural and Appalachian Schools (CORAS), co-coordinates the CARE PDS program, and is involved in the coordination of Principal Preparation Program internships.

Craig Howley Associate Professor, Educational Studies McCracken Hall, 209A 740.593.9869 howleyc@ohio.edu Dr. Howley is a Director of the Appalachian Collaborative Center for Learning, Assessment, and Instruction in Mathematics.

Jerry Johnson Associate Professor, Educational Studies McCracken Hall, 305A 740.597.3364 johnsoj9@ohio.edu Dr. Johnson is the Coordinator of the Educational Administration Program and a Co-Director of the Institute for Democracy in Education. He is also the Co-coordinator for the doctoral program (Ed.D.) in Educational Administration.

William Larson Assistant Professor, Educational Studies McCracken Hall, 382 740.597.1324 & 740.533.4580 larsonw@ohio.edu Dr. Larson is the Coordinator for the Principal Preparation Program and Superintendent License Programs, and directs the Ohio University Leadership Project (OULP).
