NCATE
The National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) is a national organization whose six standards must be met in order for teacher licensure programs to be accredited. The next College accreditation visit is set for October 2009.

Since 1954, the Ohio University Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education has been accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. All College licensure programs offered at Ohio University are under the aegis of the ODE and must submit periodic reports to this agency.

CACREP
